Interwoven was created from a set of simple, steady questions:

What am I known for in my work with children, families and educators?
What are people genuinely needing?
Who do I want to work alongside, and why?
What is already happening in this space?
What makes me the right person to hold these conversations?
And why does this work matter so deeply to me?

These questions continue to guide how I work — shaping a practice grounded in steadiness, connection and direction.

Below are some of the questions people often bring to me when they’re considering working with Interwoven.

  • Interwoven is my small business offering support for teachers, educators, leaders and families navigating life and work with children at its heart. My work focuses on cultivating steadiness, strengthening connection, and finding direction.

  • I work mostly with teachers, early childhood educators, education professionals, parents and grandparents — often not because something is “going wrong”, but because they are looking for space to think, reflect and respond with intention.

  • Interwoven is not counselling or therapy. It blends my teaching and NLP qualifications and is an opportunity for thoughtful conversation and gentle guidance, offering space to reflect, make sense of where you are, and consider next steps.

  • Sessions are calm, unhurried and shaped around you. The next page on my website offers a fuller sense of what our agreement might look like, should we choose to walk together.

  • My primary work is with adults. When children are involved, it is usually alongside the adults who support them — teachers, parents, or both.

  • Yes. I work across Aotearoa New Zealand, and online sessions allow flexibility alongside busy teaching and parenting schedules.

  • If you’re feeling unsure about where you are, or even who you are; if you have questions that you don’t have clear answers to yet; if you are wanting to find a steadier way to approach life and work; if you are looking for someone to share your path with for a while; Interwoven may be a good fit for you.

You’re welcome to arrange an initial online conversation — think of it as sharing a coffee and seeing whether this feels right.
