Perhaps I could invite you to try walking along a slightly different path? Explore finding steadiness, connection and direction through something you might not have heard of or tried before…

I believe there is wisdom and power in slowing down and seeing with fresh eyes, whether we are guiding our children, taking a breath for ourselves, supporting another parent, or reflecting as educators. Mindful Photography offers another, calm and creative, way to pause, notice, and reconnect with the world around us and within us.

Perhaps you might be interested in a Mindful Photography workshop?

These workshops aren’t about taking a “perfect” picture. They are about seeing what is already here — the play of light, the texture of a leaf, the message in a child’s gesture — and letting that seeing become a moment of stillness, insight, or renewed perspective. Perhaps you might take a photo or perhaps seeing will be enough and you will keep the picture as a memory.

Through simple, accessible photography practices, with no need for any more than the camera on your your phone, we can explore presence, perspective, and the stories our surroundings hold for us. It’s a beautiful way to deepen self-awareness, nurture wellbeing, and develop a more grounded, responsive way of being — whether in the classroom, at home, or in our own lives.

These workshops are suitable for educators, parents, and children alike, and are a wonderful way of spending a day or a half-day. They can also be tailored to individuals or small groups, if you find yourself wanting something more personal, and can be something much shorter if time is hard to find or give. No photography experience is needed — just a willingness to slow down and be curious.

What would you see? What would you have to say? And what would happen if, instead of just quickly capturing it, you slowed down and simply created?

“Here, it’s not about perfect pictures: it’s about finding stillness and light in your own way.”

    Six Places | Ninety Minutes

    $70 per person

A carefully facilitated space where people can explore, share, listen and simply be witnessed, without needing to find a solution. We don’t always need advice, answers or another thing to fix. Sometimes we just need somewhere to put down what we are carrying and people who are willing to listen. This is not coaching or mentoring, it is simply room.
